Spirals Early Learning maintains staffing at all times according to the National Education and Care Regulations 2012. Each of our three rooms has specific, regular educators assigned to allow children and caregivers to become familiar with these staff members and form meaningful relationships.

Our Approved Provider
Penelope brings over 20 years of experience across the education sector, including both primary education and early childhood education and care.
As the Approved Provider of Spirals Early Learning, Penelope holds overarching responsibility for the governance, operation and strategic direction of the service. She works closely with the leadership team to ensure Spirals operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement.
As a registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA), Penelope also brings extensive knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy and child development. She provides guidance and oversight to support meaningful educational programs and high-quality learning experiences for every child.
Penelope is passionate about creating a service where children, families and educators feel valued, supported and connected, and where our philosophy of Play with Purpose is reflected in everything we do.
Our Centre Director
Alysha brings over 11 years of experience in the early childhood education and care sector, with extensive experience in service leadership, operations, compliance and building strong relationships with children, families and educators.
As Centre Director of Spirals Early Learning, Alysha is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service, working closely with the Approved Provider and leadership team to ensure the highest standards of education, care, safety and regulatory compliance are maintained.
Alysha is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming and inclusive service culture where educators feel supported and valued, families feel connected and confident in their care, and every child is provided with opportunities to learn, grow and thrive.
With a strong focus on quality improvement, team development, community partnerships and meaningful family engagement, Alysha is committed to continually growing Spirals into a service that families and educators are proud to belong to.
Above all, Alysha believes that when educators feel happy, supported and passionate about what they do, that positivity flows directly into the experiences and relationships we create for our children each day.
Our Educational Leader
Miranda brings many years of experience in the early childhood education and care sector, along with a genuine love for what she does and a strong passion for supporting children to learn, discover and thrive.
As Educational Leader at Spirals Early Learning, Miranda works collaboratively with our educators to guide and strengthen the educational program, curriculum decision-making and pedagogical practice across the service. She supports the team to critically reflect on their practice and ensure children's individual interests, strengths, voices and developmental needs remain at the heart of our programs.
Miranda is passionate about creating meaningful, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and exploration while supporting educators to continually grow their knowledge, confidence and professional practice.
With her warm approach, experience and commitment to continuous improvement, Miranda plays an important role in ensuring our programs reflect the EYLF, National Quality Standard and Spirals' philosophy of Play with Purpose.
Most importantly, Miranda brings genuine care, enthusiasm and heart to her role, helping create an environment where children feel confident to explore, educators feel inspired to grow, and learning is something to be excited about every day.

Support the leading educators in providing care for children. In some instances these staff members are undergoing traineeships.
Our Cook
Our Cook brings valuable experience in menu planning and management, food safety and allergen awareness, with a strong understanding of providing nutritious and inclusive meals within an early childhood setting. With creativity and care, they ensure mealtimes are safe, balanced, enjoyable and responsive to each child’s individual dietary needs. The centre menu for the week is always displayed for families.
• All staff are first Aid & CPR trained.
• All staff undertake annual child protection training.
• All staff will obtain a National Police Clearance and a Working With Children Check that is checked 4 times a year.
Students
From time to time Spirals Early Learning will accept Tafe/Uni students who are working on completing their Diploma or Teaching Degree. Every student will be supervised by a qualified educator.
